How did you come up with your ATOT handle?

Broohaha

Mine is the same one I use on virtually everything internet-related. When my friend first introduced me to AIM during jr. year of HS (8 years ago), he told me to come up with a name.

On a whim I tried to come up with a funny sounding word to use as a name. And hence, Broohaha was born. And the Lord said it was good.

This was my SYSOP nick on my first BBS back in 89-90. So after that I just stuck with it and its been my nick on most all forums since then.

I've always been awake at night, posting on forums, never awake during the day until recently. Hence "Nocturnal."

I came up with it one day in German class, we were doing a medevial section in german history, my name means "queen" auf deutsch🙂

What can I say...I just love computers! So I had to pick a nick that showed that I'm geeky enough to understand computers, and since the memory heirarchy is my favorite part of computer architecture, I chose that!

It's the little kid with the steel boomerang in "The Road Warrior". Played by the great Emil Menty. Besides, Anubis was already taken.

I went by Ender^Wiggin in the only game i really played for a long time but i wanted something original so i just sat down and though of a good name and came up with Maleficus which means wicked in latin.

Red Hot -- 2 cars ago I had a '98 Red Hot Edition Saturn SC2 (Factory Black top, white face gauges, other crap). I wanted to open Yahoo e-mail because it seemed my @Home cable provider seemed to switch companies every 6 months so I kept losing my e-mail address. My fiancee came up with redhotjrm@yahoo.com

Sooo...redhot is from the old crap car and JRM are my initials.

Astaroth was the demon from Timothy Zahn's science fiction book Triplet, and I was 33 when I registered here. (Just plain "astaroth" was already taken..)

Wingznut = (Red) Wings Nut

Wings Nut was already taken on some hockey message board and this one just sorta stuck.

Warum nicht Königin?

My name means absolutely nothing, it sounds a bit fake-latin and it is short enough to remember.

My friend told me about the real meaning of an AngryPirate and I thought it was hilarious. Thus here we are.
