I am sure by now a lot of people would have seen these ads..the ads where there are people holding pictures and all of a sudden it changes into live motion.

How do they do that?? It looks so flawless....
 
Some solid color frames that you can replace with pictures later via computer, some scene splicing, it doesn't seem too complicated. Just need some video/picture editing skills.

not complicated.... maybe. but sure needs a lot of skill, not to mention time.
and oh yes... creativity!
to have thought of that in the first place...
 
Thanks for the link. I really love those commercials, especially the one with the guy sitting at his desk (the Cure one?).

I agree, ad of the year, easily. Awesome work.
 
I love those commercials but I prefer the one where the guy is sitting at his desk and keeps picking up the frames and putting them around his neck and stuff. It's much faster moving and just looks so much cooler than the ones where they are just doing random scenes.
