Keith Olbermann is a person, not a show. How do you find a way to interject politics into a completely non-political thread? Oh that's right, you're the right-wing equivalent of dmccowen. That's unfortunate.

I tried to watch it during its 1st season but just couldn't get interested. But I'm a simpleton.

The gap within season 1 didn't help the ratings, and caused people who were initially interested to move on. Not to mention that they killed off one of the most interesting characters at the end of season 1.

Anything that requires intelligence, critical thinking, and logic will most likely be canceled. The people that watch network TV watch it to turn their brain off. Most intelligent people are too busy watching the national geographic, science, history, discovery, and local educational channels to give network TV shows a chance for fear of their intelligence being insulted. Not sure how Numbers has made it as long as it has, but I think Fringe isn't going to make it for this very reason.

Shows like Jericho are not for intelligent people, they're for dorks. Half of those channels also cater to the lowest of the low. The shows on the History Channel are about the chupacabra, Bigfoot, and retarded Canadian truckers. It's not really about history anymore.

I really liked it, in spite of the disbelief and utterly retarded survival decisions that were made.

 I thought it was an original tv show idea and, for the most part, well thought out. (Although the gun fight scenes were just terrible. A haystack =/ cover from M16 bullets)

I was sad to see it go

I loved the concept and really wanted to like it. I watched half of the first season and was bored to tears through almost all of it. It wasn't because it was an 'intelligent' show either, it was because, in my opinion, it wasn't.

Because people are stupid and didn't watch it. I do think its marketing was poor though; I knew almost nobody who had heard of it. It was the best show to come out in a few years.

Probably this. The plot was what kept me with the show. It progressed each episode, but slowly enough to keep you wondering wtf was going to occur. And Hawkins. I liked that guy. He had UBER L33T tech stuff to play with. And when he got bored of that, he kicked people's asses.

All in all liked the show, but understand why it was canceled. You could tell the ending was totally rushed when 3 seasons worth of plot came out in oh, 20 minutes...lol

The second season wasn't as good as the first season.

I really like Arrested Development too. It was of the few shows I actually laugh at.

Yeah what's the deal with him? People seem to hate him. Even on Family Guy, Cleveland said that there was nothing redeeming about him.

I don't know anything about him, why all the hate?

low ratings + humongous gap in the middle of the first season killed any chance of them keeping their audience and gaining new viewers.
