First of all, he's an anarcho-capitalist, like myself. So how could he fell comfortable sending a budget to Congress if he's opposed to all spending?
2nd, he'd do what is moral and right with the income tax--he'd effectively abolish it via his executive power. That is, he'd pardon everyone who evaded it, so there would be no income tax revenue. Yet at the same time, his priority would not be cutting food stamps off for the poor. So with all the revenue streamers he'd perform, how would he balance the budget assuming he even sent one to Congress? A progressive friend of mine pointed out that their main concern with a Paul presidency is that they don't see how he could balance the budget with all the revenue streamers he'd put in place.
So HTF would he deal with the budget crisis? I don't understand how such a principled anarchist could continue giving out food stamps.
