How common is it to give presents at a Baptism?

So I was asked to be the Godfather of my Nephew. Great! So I am going to be a part of his Catholic Baptism. I was talking with someone else and they wondered what I was getting him as a present. ????? Is this a common practice? I already got him something in June for being conceived, something in November for being born and something in December for Christmas. Should I be getting him something more for being Baptized?

Check + card. It better be for a decent amount considering you're the Godfather.

Card, little cash, usually a few religiously overtoned items (St. Christopher's Medallion, Cross on a chain, a wall-hanging picture/crucifix/etc). That's about it.
