I know, i know, the criminals have illegal guns, stolen from the nightstands of regular peoples homes.

That is what i hate about those statistics, an illegal gun should be an illegaly purchased gun from the get go, if you go by that, almost no illegal guns exist in the US.

So without legal guns, it'd be pretty much like in the UK, almost no criminal ever uses a gun, if they do it's almost always a replica or a stolen legal gun from some twat that should be charged with it but won't be.

No, they'd still get smuggled in. You guys live on islands, we share a huge, open border with a corrupt third world country. What works in NZ and the UK won't always work here.

Deny it all you want, but apparently, the cop thought he had the armed robbers stopped. Holding them at gunpoint until he could confirm whether they were or were not, was appropriate.

Arguing/making fast moves, failure to obey are all very stupid moves at that point.
Comply first, argue/file lawsuits later.

Do you have a reputable source with actual numbers? I'm pretty sure they're not smuggling legal automatic weapons and grenade launchers (from the US) into Mexico...but I'm pretty sure they have them down there.

Yet almost every single "illegal" gun in the US has at one point been legally purchased.

Smuggling into the US would be a hell of a lot harder than it would be smuggling something into most other first world nations considering how adamant you are about checking every cargo and you have the strictest border control apart from Israel that i have ever had the misfortune to have to go through.

Seriously, "illegal" guns are gust stolen legally bought guns. Hell even legally bought guns used in crimes become illegal as soon as the crime is committed.

While it is a figure of speech i hear that Tiger Woods, being both a golf player and a playboy extrordinaire likes men too.

I suppose his method of ball cleaning at the tee might differ from mosts.

I was not referring to that though, i just used it as a figure of speech, i may in the future refer to it as "Tiger tounge action" but that remains to be seen.

Now do some research on the "Assault weapons ban." Personally, I don't have any problem with requiring a NICS check for a gun purchase. I do have a problem with "feel-good" legislation, such as the ones with the "evil black rifle" mindset.
