Three hispanic guys driving their Honda were stopped by an officer wildly screaming at them, and then one of them shot while trying to duck from the gun being pointed at him. (This was mentioned on a newscast on TV.)

Nothing will be done to the officer, who acted in compliance with duty.

A police officer shot and wounded the occupant of a car during a motor vehicle stop in Huntington about 15 minutes after an armed robbery of a nearby fast-food restaurant, police said.

The three occupants of the car were not involved in the robbery of a Taco Bell, about three miles away, police said.

The officer, a 14-year veteran, "called for backup and unsuccessfully attempted to control the occupants," Suffolk police said in a news release. "The officer discharged the weapon, striking one of the occupants, a 31-year-old man, in the abdomen."

How come it's always a minority in these kinds of cases? For those of you that will inevitably cry about the occupants being unruly -- let's see how you react to some officer screaming and pointing a gun at you when you have done nothing.

Old thread accidently revived.

Yall be posting in a troll thread.

Damn, everything I post lately is a troll thread...

I am genuinely pissed at this. The guy that got shot did nothing to deserve a bullet. I genuinely believe, that the police think, when it comes to dealing with minorities, it's always better to shoot first and ask questions later, and it makes me angry.

That kind of attitude will get you shot.

MORE DETAILS HERE!!

The alert had just gone out over the radio when the 14-year old veteran cop found himself at a red light behind a car carrying three people.

"He commanded them to keep their hands up and commanded the person in the back seat to show his hands," Det. Lt. Gerard Pelkofsky said.

But police say the driver got out of the car and confronted the cop as the backseat passenger suddenly put his hands between his knees. The officer shot him right through the car window.

The guy DUCKED from a gun being pointed at him. Screw that putting his hands between his legs bullshit. There was NO justification for the guy to be shot.

Follow police instructions no matter what and you wont get shot. Simple solution to a simple problem.
