Does asking for an eyecandy site have anything to do with Hardware?

Well, I have a few comments.

1. You're right. It has very little to do with hardware.
2. Lots of posts in that formum have nothing to do with hardware. They don't get locked.
3. I didn't ask for "p0rn", nor did I post links to it.
4. To me, eyecandy means cool graphics. And, in fact, I think most people
understood that's what I was looking for from the context. Further to this,
"Eye Candy" is a highly ranked, and best selling graphics plug-in for Photoshop--so
the use is not unprecedented.
5. I find it insulting that you insinuate that I would bring "p0rn" to these forums
when nothing I wrote suggested that.

You are not the whole reason the thread got locked. It was locked because some immature members posted links to p0rn sites. Sites that are not allowed, and that's just the rules.
Live with it, we all get locked threads, whining about it won't get it unlocked, or change the mods minds. You are just making matters worse by arguing.

Just think about how nutso this forum would be without Moderators.

I'm a moderator for a few other forums and I do believe in free speech, but sometimes you have to shut down a thread or boot a user. Just think about what this place would be like if we let you guys run loose. Gosh I can see it now, 9999999999 new topics, massive spam, online fights, flying trouts err wait a minute, that sounds like fun. lol j/k
