How come these corns won't fall off!??!

I've been using these Dr. Schoell's corn removers for 3-4 days straight and the corns won't fall off! The skin comes off, and the stupid thing remains.... WTF?! I feel like getting out my cleaver! :|
 
That's nasty. Yes, do get a cleaver and chop your feet off so you can stop complaining about your corns.
