How come prostitution is illegal but porn is not?

I think it's because they are technically paid for their time. Whatever happens between consenting adults on the job is up to them.

drug dealer: you know you're paying way too much but you almost always come back and the free samples are always high quality

Prostitution should be legalized and state-regulated in all 50 states. Church people be damned. Half the people that get rounded up in prostitution stings are "good chuchgoing folk" anyway.

Legalize it. Regulate it. Tax it.
