How come people who beg for gas at stations always seem to have a gas can?

Never seen anyone beg, but I have seen the aftermath of people who I guess need fuel, and go to the sno-park where your vehicle and snowmobile trailer are, and they drill holes in the bottom of your gas tank and drain all the gas.

Death penalty should apply in that situation.

Gas gauges are not always accurate, even on new vehicles.

<------ tow truck dispatcher who sends out many trucks a day for gas delivery calls, even on 2012/2013 vehicles.

Not only that, but it's usually the traveler that is affected. I have been on fumes at times when there was 100 miles between gas stations and I didn't realize that.

You're pumping gas into your new Q7 and go to your passenger seat to get something. You turn back to the pump and see a disheveled looking fellow approach. WHAT DO YOU DO? (he has no gas can).

I assume he's a disenfranchised black man in disguise and open fire.

Mine is woefully inaccurate as well, granted me car is getting a bit long in the tooth, but I have never run out of gas since I track my miles.

If somebody asked me for gas and I was in a good, giving mood I wouldn't give them cash, they would get exactly what they asked for.

That said I have never been asked for gas at the stations I have been to.
