How come AnandTech dont have a Quake 4 Benchmarks?

Be intresting to see how they go coz the 7800 and 1800 were pretty even in fear , over all the 7800 went abit better with no aa and with shadows , but quake 4 will be opengl based coz its on doom 3 engine right?

Quake 4 is an amazing game. I had to stop playing cause I knew I was close to the end and I didnt want it to.

I may wait one more day then finish it, but it was a hell of an adventure.

I hope they know that shadows dont work on the GTX in a timedemo, with 81.85 drivers. At least according to one person, who made a demo, and took some screenies.

Im sure its just a bug, maybe its just him for some reason. I have Q4 installed, but havent run to verify yet.

hehe, who the hell buys a 7800GTX then doesn't use AA 😉 Looking at the benchies around it seems the x1800xt is the bomb for quake4, after ati's memory controller enhancements...

Amazing game. one of few very games that i actually played to finish the single player. ending was okay.
