How cold is it?

Mind you I like cold more than hot. I can be outside for at least 30 min in -10C temp without a jacket. But I must have boots and gloves. Extremities don't like cold much.

I can take some cold. I'm in north Idaho. I'm thankful we don't get minus temperatures very often, but you guys have to deal with it all the time.

Feels like -34C today with the wind chill. Went out to the car this morning and my first inhalation of the cold air gave me a brief instance of cold shock. Rough out there.

We haven't had a winter like this in a very long time, generally there isn't even snow on the ground yet in December.

Warmed up in southern NH today, its already back up to 5. Earlier in the week it was -15* but felt like -24 with the wind, tonight is supposedly getting as low as -5 or so. Even at 5* its not that cold if you ignore the wind, especially if youre directly in the sun.

The high here yesterday was 65F (Berkeley, CA), the low this morning was 59F. No fooling, that's warmer than the great majority of spring/summer/fall mornings here. It's colder now at 5PM than it was this morning, it's now 55F. Light rain off and on today. Overall it's fairly pleasant, we sure need the rain.

11 deg F, feels like -5. Metro Detroit. I LOVE COLD WEATHER just kidding fuck this shit

-3 This morning in the D when I came home. Nothing better than having your beard freze solid on the way to work though. Kinda used to it with Michigan weather.

Last night around 10:30PM my time I was browsing the National Weather website and noted how Ely Minnesota had a temperature of -28ºF in their 9:30PM time zone. I guess the one grateful thing they could offer was that the wind was calm and had no wind chill to deal with. 😛

What do temps in the house feel like when it's -28F outside? Our baseboard heat has trouble reaching 64F when it's trying for 70F+ while it's 10F outside.

5F right now. Gonna peak to 8F, with a low of -8F tonight. Been having 20-30+mph gusts of wind since last night. Brrrr.

I keep my house at like 11-13C if I'm not home, or sleeping. But when I'm home I tend to keep it around 20C, it will hit like 22C in the upper part of the house where I tend to be.

My lower floor is super inefficient, so I don't even bother spending any time there in winter. I really need to rip out the drywall and redo the vapour barrier at some point.

-25 feels like -33 right now.

-26C here with little wind [at the cottage].

Tried to go snowmobiling with my girlfriend. She had to go pee and refused to use the Shewee I bought her.
She pissed all over her snowmobile suit.
Dam we had to go home before it froze.

It's 11F here and windy as fuck and I hate it. I don't want to leave my house at all when it's like this. I don't understand how people can enjoy the cold.

The wind does really make it a whole lot worse than it actually is. You sound like my mom. 😛

Lol we had a "cold warning" which always makes me laugh, because it's like "no shit sherlock!" Well got a notice on my phone that the cold warning ended, because it's "only" -24. 😛

This is just the beginning too. 2 more months of this to go! When I'm on night shifts I might stay up for a bit when I get home so I can try to capture a sun dog.
