How cluttered is your cube ?

probably depends on the office setting. MIcrosoft offices are fully of person things. but i can see how an investment firm can view too many nonwork related items in your office as unprofessional

My desk is a minor disaster area, but it's because it's covered with papers that people give me in meetings (and promptly email out after the meetings...?) that I haven't bothered to throw away. Decorating and keeping the cube completely spotless is a waste of my time. I don't care what other people do with their desks but an hour of decorating means an hour I stay to finish a job.
