i am about 25 miles from Whiteman AFB, which has B-2 bomber aircraft that can deliver nuclear weapons

the good thing it is east of me, so if it was targeted by an enemy nuke, the fallout would drift east away from us

I used to work on a base with nukes. Got within 30 secs of getting jacked up once; call from the guys clearing workers came through just in time.

lol I googled "Does ca" and the first suggestion was "does canada have nuclear weapons"

answer: no, so I'm a good distance away, especially since I'm in eastern Ontario and there's none in the states anywhere near that.

Three hours in all directions. Just enough time to get in my daily, three hour 15 mile bike ride before the first strike hits! 🙂

i am guessing that picture does not show all them either, i doubt the goverment is going to post map with location of its weapons so some terrorist can come and try to steal one

GO WASHINGTON! Look at all them nukes. I'm about 80mi away as the bird flies from Bangor, WA.

yes, i served aboard one of the Trident submarines ported in Bangor
our bunk rooms were in between the missile tubes, so i slept about 25-30 feet from the warheads

Los angeles to Nellis AFB is about 280 miles.

I'm surprised to see two places that are close to the coast. You'd think they'd make them all inland to help protect them.

Nothing close in the Northeast.

I'm sure we'd be the "recipients" of nukes, unfortunately, if an attack is launched against the U.S.

Probably a good 1000 miles. Unless Canada has some too.

Wait, Canada having nuclear weapons? no way! Impossible! Can our tank's cannon even handle them?
