My CPU is running at 100% load w/ seti@home in background. my current cpu temp is 113F and my current case temp is 95F, pretty damn hot.
I used to be running at a much cooler temperature, but the noise from my 12 80mm case fans was too much to bear. Given that the overall temp is so high, i imagine that there are some areas that are even hotter- the so-called 'hotspots'.
am i safe to be running at this temp? how high can i go w/o causing significant damage?
thx

103F = ~ 39.5 C,... your pretty okay, most of the time you can run at the mid to low 40's (C) and be fine, you did mention this at FULL load so it seems reasonable, never hurts to have more cooling though...

what platform/cpu/overclock are you running? 33.8C case ambient temp is a bit warm, though, so it is very important to know whether you're running AMD or intel.
