Comcast high speed internet/basic cable for free after rebate/gift cards

Samsung laser printer for free after rebate
bought my vehicle for half the kbb value at an auction
bought my $500 laptop for $150 via craigslist
bought my $1k gaming rig for $500 from dell

use double/triple coupons, rebates to buy food/drinks

I go through 5 to 7 entertainment books in a year

I'm borderline frugal
 
i turn my underwear/socks inside out to wear them again the next day. the flies around the crotch area can become quite a distraction though.

yep.

tried that. too many racing stripes in my pants though. you know, kind of like what happens when your brakes start to go out. skid marks. 😛
 
I'm very frugal in some ways, in others not at all. But overall I'm frugal because the stuff that I'm not frugal in is stuff like groceries. I buy expensive foods...organic non-pasturized yogurt for instance because normal yogurt is full of sweetners and has poor live bacterial cultures (in other words, its candy). I buy very expensive dietary supplements, but since I've started taking them, I've stopped getting several prescriptions (now I'm down to 2).

But I very, very rarely eat out. I spend about $500/year on entertainment, unless you count internet access...but I really need the bandwidth to do school work. I drive a 1992 Accord, live in an apartment without A/C.
