how can you tell if you've been lead on?

Well? Where is the line drawn?

A girl writes her name on your hand, smiles at you a lot, asks you to walk her to her class, etc... Then when you call her up she says she's hanging out with a 'friend', and when you say you'll meet her up later with your friends to see a movie with her and her 'friend', her 'friend' turns out to be a guy holding her hand? Does that cross the line for leading someone on, or would that still be just my imagination?

Help me out ...

LOL if she's holding somebody elses hands, then i doubt it's your imagination. But just ask her point blank... 'i like you a lot.. and want something more. Is the feeling mutual?' if she says yes, then you scored. If she says no, make light of it and say 'darn, was worth a shot' and smile.

But yeah, i think it's pretty obvious she was leading you on... maybe she was just overfriendly, just doesn't realize that sort of behavior can lead guys on just yet.

I think you're right. I should have gotten to know her better before even considering taking her out... But I didn't get the chance. And nah, I don't think I'm gonna try from here, it's not worth it anymore.

She may just be very friendly or even have 'feelings' beyond freindship, but she is obviously taken. Just ask her that was her boyfriend the next time you see her.

You know, the fact that she called that guy a 'friend' and not a boyfriend (and girls will jump at any chance to call somebody their boyfriend) is odd. I know the only time i don't refer to a girl as my girlfriend is because that's not a relationship i want people to know about. But she was holding his hands... so hmmm.

Yeah, I think I'm just gonna forget about her. There's just no point. If she talks to me or calls (yeah right) me, fine... But I'm not going out of my way now for nothing. But it was just a big pissoff... I really wasn't expecting that to happen at all. Oh well, me and my friends made up for it later (some people probably got really pissed cause of us though! mwahahah).

It was annoying though, all weekend downtown I kept seeing asians! Why do girls always have to mess w/r heads?? the ones on our shoulders I mean. Anyway.. every time we saw them we'd say "f8ckin A!" hahah.. my other friend had no clue what we were talking about.
