I am building a new system. I dopnt' know if I shoudl go for a celeron or a Duron. I want to use this chip just to overclock. But I'm gonna look at the chip first and then see if I should overclock or not. Entailing that the Duron is unlocked, and see, I don't know how to tell if the celeron is overclockable or not. How do you tell about hte Celeron? Please let me know. I need all the help I can possibly get right now about the Celeron and Duron overclocking. Thanks folks

it doesn't matter if the duron is locked or unlocked. either way, if it is locked, you can unlocked it by using a mechanical pencil and coloring in the l1 bridges. if it isn't lock then you can oc without having to color the bridges in. for the celeron, its just a matter of finding a chip that is a good overclocker. simple as that. if you have anymore questions regarding overclocking the duron, mail me and ill help you out the best that i can.
