I've noticed that a lot of people tend to like to reformat their HDD's often. I've somewhat been curious as to if everyone actually means wiping the drive clean or simply just REINSTALLING the OS...
Is formatting often really necessary? Seems like this would become a tedious thing to do after a while (backup EVERYTHING, FormatC:, reinstall EVERYTHING)....
Also, and this is the major question I have...what backup measures do you take before reformatting? Is there a quicker way of reformatting?
