Hay guys,
I am looking for a program that reports and logs, which program initiated the dial-up disconnect.
Why you may ask, well after my ISP assured me that they are not cutting-off inactive connections, I am leave to seek what program on my pc initiates a disconnect after a long while.

BTW connection keeper solved the problem.

Happy holidays,
Niv

EagleKeeper: No, I mean to stay connected all the time.

Its just that I am getting disconnected by same porgram I am not aware of. well, at least I've checked all options on windows panels.

Allanv: Ya I got a porgram just like that which is connection keeper (see it on download.com If you wish)
But I would like to know who is the disconnecting source. Is it on may behalf or is it my ISP?
Any tools for that?

If you are on Dial-up, check your settings. I realize that you wish to stay connected, however, a dial-up setting may be dropping you off.

I am runing win2k. In the properties of my adsl dial-up I click on the Options tab. At redialing options Idle time before hanging-up is not marked, and redialif line droped is marked.
Any other thing to check at the properties?
