How can you identify USB 2.0 cables from 1.1?

I'm curious, because I dont see a difference between my USB cables and I dont want to get them mixed up.

I don't think there is any physical difference between what's termed a 1.1 cable and a 2.0 cable.

From what I understand there really isn't. supposidly USB2.0 has to meet a certain spec, but most 1.1 cables should run at 2.0 speed just fine.

There's basically no reason to worry about telling them apart. There's hardly any difference between them, as far as transfer spped goes.
MaximumPC tested USB 1.1, 2.0 and high end Monster 2.0 cables... bottom line...
They all were within a few seconds of each other. :laugh:
