How can you guys turn on Newegg?

Sure their shipping has gotten a bit more expensive and takes a day or two longer now, and maybe they're sometimes a few dollars higher than ZZF, but damn, I ordered something last night (Saturday) around 9 PM, and by midnight on Sunday (just a couple hours ago) I already had my tracking number. How can you guys turn on that kind of service?

No. I didn't see the problem with UPS shipping. They always get the stuff to me in one [undamaged] piece, and as long as that continues to happen, I will continue to use whatever shipping is cheapest.

My issue is they use UPS as the default and cheapest shipping. Many people hate UPS, because it is the worst shipping service in terms of arriving without damage. Newegg is a great company as they have excellent customer service, etc, but UPS is what turns away many people. I would still order from Newegg is the price is moderately lower than the competition.

If they went back to free fedex for most items and low fedex shipping rates, I'd say I wouldn't have any problem. However, its the same as people have said, UPS sucks and after a long period of time having a company do one thing and then abruptly change, it doesn't sit well.

I still :heart: newegg.com , but just because you have a tracking number on Sun. night, doesn't mean your order has shipped archcommus

Oh yes, I know, but I can still pretty much guarantee it will ship tomorrow, and just the fact that it was 100% processed within 27 hours during the weekend is so impressive.

My opinion of Newegg dropped sharply when they switched to UPS. UPS *sucks*. Oh, and I've had issues with NewEgg RMA's before.

The only courier / shipping company that will attempt to get shipping right, in this area, is DHL. Fedex is next, and then comes homing pigeon, and then UPS and USPS.

UPS sucks, and it's annoying to pay $5 to get a stupid tube of Arctic Silver shipped when all they're doing is throwing it into a box with a bunch of other stuff in it.

You can't blame the carrier IMO, where I live, my local UPS guy is awesome! :heart:

I've noticed that NewEgg's shipping has gone downhill a bit after they switched to UPS, but they are still the best shop on the web. Tracking works both ways. I live in Michigan, and watched packages get mixed up at UPS's hub in KY and travel all over the U.S. before being routed back correctly. UPS should stick tracking stickers on packages like luggage so you can brag about how many states it's been at.

You guys know why UPS trucks are made of fiberglass and sit low to the ground? Makes them easier to peddle them with your feet, aka 'Flinstones'.

Because I paid for overnight shipping on a laptop, which came broken, 2 weeks ago.

Paid to overnight it back, with a promise I'd have it by the end of the week.

Still don't know what happened.

Chargebacks are imminent.

Always complaining about the price of shipping.
When if you look at it everycompany has a right to make a profit and we shouldn`t expect them to ship everything for free...

I find these complaint about NewEgg`s shipping way too funny....
NewEgg still rules!! They have the BEST Customer Support of any online retail store...
