How can you find out your w2k CD key?

I have the CD sitting in front of me, unfortunately, my boss has terrible handwriting; I have an installation of it waiting, and can't get into it until I get the CD Key. Can I find out the CD key from an existing installation?

I had a similar problem when I couldn't find out my cd key. I tried to look in the registry but apparently win2k encodes it somehow and you are unable to find it. So, sorry but I think you're out of luck.

i have the win2K pro cd-key....but it is written on my cd
