How can you change the boot logo on a Gateway (Intel OEM) motherboard using a Phoenix BIOS?

I just got this new (well, it's used, so it's not exactly new) motherboard so that I can upgrade my old computer using a slocket and a celeron II. anyways, it works great after the latest BIOS update, and is much better than my Pcchips (<- I would not touch them again with a 10^100 feet pole) mobo that was in use before this.

Never the less, the "gateway" logo at start-up is very annoying, and since I can only find info on changing the boot logo of Award BIOSes, I am stuck with have to look at that logo reprensenting an annoying expensive company with despicable commericals. I also ALREADY tried the one on Intel's ftp site, and CBrom will not work since this isn't an award bios.

Does anyone have another program for changing the boot logo of my motherboard? If you're curious, it's an Intel WS440BX motherboard. It's OEM only.

you can disable the GW logo by turning off Silent Boot in your BIOS

as for changing the logo, i don't know how but my guess that you change the GATEWAY.ROM file to whatever image you want
