  • Does not believe in global warming despite the overwhelming evidence from scientists
  • Does not believe in evolution despite the overwhelming scientific evidence. Wants to push Intelligent Design and Creationism in science classes in public schools
  • Hates gays and wants to discriminate against them such that they have no rights in this country
  • Wants to give tax cuts to the super rich and wealthy and gut the middle class of America
We can't move forward when we are stuck debating what are common sense facts with ingrates. The educated populace of America needs to take a stand and get this bastion of stupidity the fuck out of politics ASAP. We will never make progress if we have one side of the isle so completely devoid of intelligence.

Didn't Keith Olbermann retire a couple years ago? Which talking head did you get these points from this time?

Seriously, are you really this stupid, or is it an act?

Also, posting in a troll thread.

What is so incorrect about the above facts?
Did you watch the debate tonight?
Except for the gays, every other item on the list was in fact verified by every republican up there. The gay thing was not asked or addressed.
Who's trolling who?

PS. I take that back about Romney and scientific evidence. During the debate Romney pulled his typical flip flop thingy, but Im sure as soon as he stands before his next tea bagger gathering, Romney will again change his tune.

The GOP's base is comprised of the:
Religious Right
Gun Nuts
Neo Cons
Big Business
Southern Strategy
Anti-abortionists
Small Federal Governmentist - advocates for over turning the New Deal, New Frontier, Great Society, etc
Xenophobes
Anti union, education, teachers, government workers, poor people, aliens, retirees, baby boomers etc*

*I know members of this group are really a combination of the preceding groups but they are a lot more up front about their antiness than I can remember them being.

Let's take each of these points and each candidate in order.

Global Warming
Rick Perry: "a scientific theory that has not been proven, and from my perspective is more and more being put into question"
Mitt Romney: "I believe the world is getting warmer, and I believe that humans have contributed to that.."
Michele Bachmann: "We're being told we have to reduce this natural substance to create an arbitrary reduction in something that is naturally occurring in the earth"
Ron Paul: "They can find just as many places where the ice is building up - in Greenland, in certain parts of Greenland, in Antarctica"

Evolution
Rick Perry:"firm believer in intelligent design as a matter of faith and intellect,"
Mitt Romney: "I believe evolution is most likely the process he used to create the human body"
Michele Bachmann: "there is a controversy among scientists about whether evolution is a fact ... hundreds and hundreds of scientists, many of them holding Nobel prizes, believe in intelligent design"
Ron Paul: "It’s a Theory … I don’t accept it.”

Homosexuality
Rick Perry:"Homosexuality is like alcoholism", "gays should simply choose abstinence"
Mitt Romney: "I opposed same sex marriage"
Michele Bachmann: "It's a very sad life. It's part of Satan"
Ron Paul: [on same-sex marriage] "an act of social engineering profoundly hostile to liberty”

I don't care enough about the tax issue. But let's face it, you guys aren't exactly looking at the brightest candidates you've ever seen. I personally find it hilarious to watch and I consider American politics somewhat like a very hateful sitcom.

Link? I'd be quite surprised and dismayed to find that true. Goes firmly against libertarian principles.
First of all, if you even remotely agree that Ron Paul would be a suitable leader of any country, much less the most powerful one in the world, then please get yourself checked into a mental institute. I'm dead serious, if you would elect that fucking moron then you genuinely, no-kidding need fucking help.

But here you go, the quote is in here. I didn't check the source.

Yeah, our current and last presidents were real winners.

Go back to "herding" sheep. When your country approaches the size of one our smaller cities let us know.

Also, after reading the Wikipedia entry it's typical Paul. He's not saying that homosexual marriage is wrong, he's saying it's wrong for the Feds to be involved. I agree. When the Feds get involved in anything, they're as likely to get it wrong as they are to get it right.

Yes the GOP is utterly stupid, the problem is so are the Dems.

Again we will be given the choice of shit, either Obama or the loons running for the GOP nomination and there it's going to be a contest between who has the best hair.

I don't know. But if left to the Dems we would have equal misery:

They fooled Americans into creating jobs for the past 40 years, they are now going to fool them into leading America away from the very mess they created.

The bad part of all of this; they are using fear to do it. And/or, they are tapping into hate that has been around since this nation's creation. Which is ironic; the fear/hate is over people that would not manipulate them in the way the GOP is.

Fixed that for you, hate isn't an American thing.
