Went to Mickey D's for lunch, bought a 9 peice nugget meal and super-sized fries. Got back to work --- the database server was down.... So... I put my lunch on my desk and go revive the db server. 45 minutes later I'm done (Ugghhh. I HATE 4D servers!!!), and go to enjoy my fries... cold! Disgusting! Soggy! Yuck. :( I'm hungry.

The lifespan for McD french fries is about 7 minute from frier to mouth. Whenever I eat there, which is not often anymore, I always tell them I want my fries fresh up, not out of the tray with the heatlamp over it. If I get them to go, intending to take home, I normally have most of the fries eaten on the 4 minute drive home. :) You're right, old fries are nasty.....I don't care where they come from.

I've tried baking my cold-ass fries in the oven to retain their crispiness. It certainly works better than the microwave.
