How can others access my network to FTP

My xbox is modded and has an FTP function because i FTP to it from my computer on my network and transfer music/games/movies to it and my cousin is wanting to download and upload some music and movies to it and i was wondering how he could do it?

Right now i just login using the internal IP of the xbox (I think thats what it is its the IP the router assigns it like 192.168.1.102) and use a login name and password if i were to find out the external IP of my xbox (I have linux and i could just go to whatsmyip.com or something) could i give him that and the login name and pass and then if my xbox was turned on in the FTP program he could download filezilla and then type all the stuff in and access it?

Also i already opened one port on my router so that once he is logged in he can see the files not sure if i need to open others for him to upload and download
 
you need to forward port 21 on your router to you xbox. that is basically it. your cousin types in ftp://external ipaddress he should access with username and password. try it and see
