How can my system use DSL and Dial-up at the same time?

My dsl is a lil sh!tty for the day so im trying to use dsl and dialup since the dsl seems to come/go every couple seconds! grr....how

bah, i figured it out, u can have them both theoreticly running at once, BUT, whichever one you turn on last has the default gateway, thus they work seperatly and whatever was turned on last, say modem, then i have modem speed. 🙁 Pointless i guess.

They make bandwith routers where you can share 2 high speed setups ( like a cable and a DSL ) but not sure about a modem.

<Edit>
And they are about $400 or so for the cheapest.

Ok, I missed what you said about it going up and down.

Like what I would do is if the cable when out I'd hop on another ISP for a bit, then check back every few minutes. Yeah it may give you trouble if you want it to switch back and forth really fast. Can't think of a way off hand to have it change from one connection to the next.

Sorry 🙁

Yep. I was doing it all the time too.. My cable was being crappy, so I would dialup.

After you connect, all new connections use dialup. If you have an established connection through broadband, it will continue to use it until it gets disconnected.

I also couldn't figure out a way to switch back and forth at will, heh..
