Hi all..
Lately I've been having alot of my common sites slow down alot due to all kinds of ads, and mainly having to wait for the ad servers to display them properly, thus slowing down the whole page..
Now, I do realise I could just get some kind of ad-blocker extension for my browser, but I prefer to block the really bad ones (like ads.casalemedia.com) etc. right into my router, so it blocks them in ALL browsers on ALL computers..
My question is though, often in Firefox you can't tell where the ads are coming from, so is there some software I can use to monitor all the incoming data and learn where stuff is coming from? So if I type in forum.site.com, I will be able to see the data back & forth from site.com, but will also see the other addresses sending me data.. In *NIX you would use 'tcpdump' but I'm not sure how to go about this here in XP
Someone please help! Thanks in advance!
