Hi,
I got a question for you guys. I want to upgrade Win2000 Pro to Win XP Pro but in such manner that all my settings would be preserved from Win2k to Win XP. Is there a way for me to do that without using floppies or any other storage other than computer on whick win2k is installed? Thanks:)

I tried to do that, but there is no explicit question "do you want to upgrade or do clean install" like it was when I upgraded win98 to win2k pro. SO I gues what I was asking is whether there is such feature when you go from win2k to win xp pro. I have full version of XP.
Thanx

Choose the 'upgrade' option. It will preserve your settings. While I normally don't like doing 'upgrades', I did it to one of my boxes the other day and everything is running 100%.

Yes...
There is also a feature for transferring settings after install.
Not sure that works for computer on computer.
