Hey all, I have always used a desktop until now and have become dependant on my windows key, and was wondering if I can turn the Fn key on my new laptop into a windows key. I would then want to turn alt-Fn into what used to be the Fn key. Any ideas on how I can do this, or what software I should use? Thanks a lot!

then can i maybe program some of the usual windows key shortcuts into the fn key so that it works the same? like win-d, win-f, win-e (the only 3 I really use, but I use them A LOT).

Is this for a Dell lappy?

yes it is! inspiron 5150

and do you want to use an external keyboard??? on the lappy??

EDIT: Does your lappy have a windows key???

I know that an external would work, but I will not be using one. I did after originally posting this find that there is a windows key, but it is in the top right (a bad spot for quick shortcuts). I'd like to switch it with Fn if at all possible still.
