They dont have a revision listed.... they got one board that says rev. 1.3 that has 1333mhz fsb listed for $99, and they have another 965p-ds3 board listed for $124 or 129 or something that has 1066 listed as the max fsb..

Which is which?!

  • Rev. 1.0: FSB 1066MHz, one system fan header, ALC883 (Vista Basic Logo)
  • Rev. 1.3: FSB 1333MHz, one system fan header, ALC883
  • Rev. 2.0: FSB 1066MHz, three system fan headers, ALC888 (Vista Premium Logo)
  • Rev. 3.3: FSB 1333MHz, three system fan headers, ALC888
I don't know why GIGABYTE added rev. 1.3 in the last (it appeared in the GIGABYTE website only within a couple of days). Its audio codec is sligtly out of date. It's a good buy anyway.

apparently the 1.3 is 1333, which is correct, the more expensive one could be 3.3 with the newer audo coded and three system fan headers. 1.3 is the latest though, and apparently a cheap fsb 1333 capable mobo. It should work just fine ^^

This one is Version 3.3 LINK I know bcoz that's what showed up @ my door the other day.

If you're still not 100% sold, then get it HERE

Why would you want to buy it off newegg for more money anyways? Why dont you just buy it at clubit.com since you know its 3.3..........

Thanks for the info guys.

Fallengod -- I've bought a lot of stuff from newegg, and have had nothing but great and fast service from them... I'd rather spend an extra 10 bucks there knowing that I'll get the product quick, and complete than some place i've never used...

lol thats the problem with Newegg u dont know what u gonna get in this case... some get 3.3 some rev 1 or 2... some plp just look for trouble...
Ewiz also has the 3.3 if u check its specs but whatever go with newegg since u love them
