How can I tell if win2k pro was installed with ACPI mode? (please read)

I am having a problem with win2k pro running my games poorly. I have all the latest drivers and what not. I was told by someone with the same ATI radeon 64 ddr card that if my system is setup in ACPI mode, all my devices share one IRQ. This would cause my games to run bad, which they are extremely choppy. So how can I check this and if it is in this mode what is the easiest way to switch it to "Standard PC" mode?

Right click "My Computer" and go to properties. Click on Hardware then Device Manager. Click on the + next computer it will tell you what HAL is installed. Go here to find out how to change if you really feel that will help. Look for Troubleshooting Windows 2000 Hardware Abstraction Layers.
