How can I tell if people are mooching off my wireless router?

I have a wireless router and have left it open for the past week because I'm having some difficulty getting WEP to work. Is there are software program that I can use to tell how many people are connected to my router?

Go into the router and check the DHCP logs.

Let us have your address so people nearby can have a piece... Those wide-open lans can be very convenient.

I, myself, use WPA-PSK to protect my files, however, I entered my password into my neighbor's laptop so he can partake...

my neighborhood as like 5 wireless lan's available. so tempting to freeload off their internet lol

That's a start, but a leecher doesn't necessarily have to use dhcp to do bad things.

if you can't get the WEP to work, call the manufacturer for help...could be a problem with the router

yea if they are smart enough they can fake the mac address and pretend to be oneof the nromal users. course do u think anyone living near u is that devious? i do wish silly routers would have a real time net usage graph on their setup pages and stuff.
