How Can I stream movies from my PC to my TV wirelessly?

In order to watch movies, I have a divx player hooked up to my TV and I burn CDs with movies to watch them. Im really tired of this, and I wish there was a player which could send my dvix movies wirelessly to my TV.

Does anyone know of such a player? thanks!
 
What you're wanting is a media extender. This could be a PS3, XBOX360, Popcorn Hour, or many others. Some play many formats, while others play very few. Some care about DRM, some don't. Be sure to choose one that best fits your needs.

A couple other options are running cables from your computer to your TV or building a HTPC.
 
I have the Western Digital media player - it's great. The Popcorn Hour is what I'd go for if I wanted something wireless.
