How can I shrink (just a little bit) a jacket?

100% cotton... I bought it cause it was 9 bucks, and i like it, even too big... but it's an XL and i'd like to make it a large or medium.

Ideas?

Edit: Damn typos.

Also, ...bastards.

XL to a medium? ummmm

return it, buy one that fits.

PS Yes you can shirt cotton sometimes, but I dont think it is possible to shirt a cotton jacket that much, does it have zippers, etc? if you shirted it too much the zippers would be all bunched up

I assume you mean 'shrink'... you can try washing with hot water and drying on hottest setting. Might fark it up, especially if it's got a zipper, but might not.
