How can I set a timer for internet usage?

My kids PC's access the internet through a Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 wireless router. I'd like to be able to set a time limit on when they can use the internet. I have the router set up with a MAC filter but I don't see any way I can set a window for when each PC is allowed to use the internet.

I did a search of the archives and I saw some similar requests were using software like 'net nanny', etc... I was wondering if I could do it with my router and / or if flashing my router with a different firmware would allow features like I am looking for. Nothing I can find seems to answer my question. I just want to be able to turn off internet access for a certain time period (maybe 11pm to 7am).

Any ideas?

-As always, Thanks in advance for any suggestions, Ken

BTW: As a parent, of course if I could find a free option, I'd be willing to have less features then if I have to pay for something.

If you have an old spare machine around that you can pop two NICs into, you can use Astaro security gateway software FREE for home use http://www.astaro.com

This gives you full packet filtering, multi-user/layered web filtering, and timed access control (it is the same software we use to filter out K-12 school district network).
