How can I save Windows Media Streams?

I was watching some movies on Windows Media through streaming and wanted to know if there's a way to save them or record them?

One way, off the top of my head, is to right click on the link and select 'save target as...'.

Save target as will just save the link to the media stream. IIRC UltraPlayer has a setting that allows you to save streamed media. UltraPlayer
