How can I run the Remote Desktop Client?

Turkish

Lifer
Ok, this is the first time I'm trying to use it and I think I deleted it from Start>Programs>Accesories>Communications.

Does anyone know how to get to it from root (C:/Windows) or any other way (such as Start>run)?

Thanks!

Remote Desktop Client

Microsoft Remote Desktop Client

I have Remote Desktop installed on my computer (and thus it won't let me reinstall it again) but I don't have it at Start>Programs>Accessories>Communications.

That is why I want to find out the file name for the remote client so I can run it from C:/windows or wherever it is located.

Thanks for trying to help though 🙂

My shortcut for RDC points to "%SystemRoot%\System32\mstsc.exe" for the Target, and the Start In field has "%HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%" in it.

FYI: This is on a WinXP Pro system. If you have RDC installed on another version of Windows I'm not absolutely sure that it installs to the same location. But I think it does.
