How can I recover information from a DVD RW?

I have this DVD RW that I erased by mistake. It was a quick format (the one that takes a minute)

Can I recover it?

I Googled with "optical disk recovery freeware" and came up with 737,000 returns, so it may be possible. I only read a couple and they seemed to focus on corrupted disks, so I have no idea of how well it would work with erased disks. They say that it is difficult to permanently erase a harddisk, but I don't know if that the same with optical or not.

Maybe not. I used google. I tried isobuster, but it didn't find anything. I guess I can try Easy Recovery.....
