I have a Socket7 motherboard with P200 MMX. I'm thinking of getting a new heatsink and take the fan off for passive cooling. But I'm worried that it might not fit or damage the CPU since all HSF are designed to work with either FC-PGA S370 CPU or SocketA cpus. Or.. the heatsink itself could be too large to fit in the baby AT motherboard.
So, I'm thinking of the following heatsinks.

DP5-6H51 CoolerMaster Heatsink and Fan for Socket A CPU (Rated to 950MHz) 60x60

DP5-6I31C CoolerMaster Heatsink and Fan for Socket A CPU (Rated to 1.4GHz)

EP5-6I11 CoolerMaster Heatsink and Fan for Socket A CPU (Rated to 1.4GHz)

Now, I'm not sure the dimension of the latter two... and the coolermaster website says they support athlon, duron, celeron, P3 and K6.but no pentium ;) Do you think I can fit one into the baby AT board?

Socket 7, 370, and A are all the exact same size. It'll fit on the socket just fine, all you have to worry about is caps around it and stuff like that. Anything that's 60x60 should be fine.

How to Passive Cool a p200.... put a heatsink on it =).... Seriously, my step dad ran a p266mmx for YEARS without a fan on the HS. Still works great too! Any cheesball HS should do....

This is a setup that has worked for me and my stepfather as well... I will not take any responsibility if in your case it does not work...
