How can I overclock this Pentium 4 1.6 ghz (Not Northwood)

You aren't gonna overclock anything from Dell, Gateway, Compaq etc. Most of them use Intel Brand motherboards, which have no overclocking options.

I had a compaq before and that was "overclockable"

don't see anything in the bios...
guess that means I'm stuck with 1.6 and my "free" burner....

so I can probably upgrade to a northwood right?
 
Probably, but what's the point? Without the overclocking, it's just about 5%-10% faster clock for clock. The real value is setting a 1.6 to 2.1 Ghz, etc
