i want to open up an .iso image file before burning it to cd. can i burn it to hard drive first? the reason is i need to add a few files to the image before i burn it. is there a way i can extract the .iso image and save it to a directory, add my files that i need, and just burn the whole directory? thanks in advance.

ok, here's what I would do. Burn the image, copy the files back to the harddisk, and then burn it again....

In Linux, it's possible to mount a ISO-Image as a CD but I'm not sure if you can add something...

It's read-only, but you can still copy the the files to somewhere else, add the new files and make an ISO of that.
