How can I monitor how many Frames per Second my games are achieving?

Here's the thing: I've got Deus Ex: Invisible War running smoothly on my computer, but I'd like to see just how far I can push the settings while still maintaining decent performance. So I'd like to know how to view the Frames per Second while playing the game.

Any responses will be appreciated.

If the game doesn't come with an option to view FPS (I haven't played it, but maybe there is no console)... try FRAPS.

You might try stat fps at the console, it's the command in other Unreal engines games (Unreal2, UT2k3/UT2k4, Unreal, Unreal Tournament)
Fraps is the other option.
