OK, the other day i installed my DVD-rom (Toshiba 16x40), and ive noticed that the DVD audio playback isnt as loud as id liked it to be. I turn to knob on my speakers high but it just doesnt get all that loud.
The sound for mp3's and games is fine, i turn up the volume knob on my speakers, and it gets louder accordingly, but i cant figure out why my DVD's wont playback louder... I have an old pair of 2.0 speakers (still work well, but not top notch by any means), again, they're great for mp3's,games, etc........
I have all the audio properites in my system put to the max, so i dont think thats the problem...
I use WinDVD 3.0 and PowerDVD 3.0 if thats any help to you. Are there any other properties i should adjust? Perhaps something in my sound blaster properties? I hope some of this makes sense, i suck when it comes to explaining this sort of thing...
specs:
AMD Duron 700
256mb pc133 ram
toshiba dvd-rom 16x40x
WinME
Sound Blaster Live!
I'm pretty sure my WaveOut is set to the max. Oh and if it has something to do with messing around the SB Live! controls, please walk me through it...
