After ATT reattached my severed cable, the picture looks horrible, with lots of fuzzy snow. The cable guy insisted that it was the wires inside but the picture became bad after HE replaced the coax connectors on the outside. we had no problem with the connectors that were already there

EDIT: SOLVED. apparently, when the guy reattached the cable, he didnt bother to take the plastic film off the copper wire, I unhooked the coax and saw that it was all covered up with it. I took the plastic film off, and voila, clear picture, just like before. no thanks to AT&T

:D

Well the burden should not be on you. Call AT&T up and tell them that their tech screwed up the reception for your cable. Tell them you want it fixed ASAP and you are disatisfied. If that doesn't work then you might have to fix it yourself.

At least when he threatens to stop paying them, they'll know he's not bluffing.

And if it doesn't what does work well is an email that has one word: "YOU", and below it a dead body from that ro&#en website :)

Tell them not to wax poetic, while you're waxing your legs. Sometimes it works ;)

You really are Canadian. :D
No, he's just been drinking a bit this afternoon.

Hhaahha.. actually, I said that because what he said is pretty close to a Barenaked Ladies lyric. :D

Get satellite then. Don't take any crap for the cable company.

I wish. It could get too expensive seeing as how we have 5 TVs in the house, with the possibility of one more

Your cable company should be able to install some sort of filter to eliminate the interference. I don't have cable now, but when they disconnected the service at my old house, they threw the filters in the trash. I, of course, grabbed them and they are hooked up to my roof antenna. It cleans up the signal and improves the sound.
