Even if you make money from home, it'll take time. Are you surgically attached to your computer? With minimum wage job, you could get $20 in 4 hours.

Since you are in engineering, try do some tutoring for some social science major math classes like algebra. You'd make at least $10/hr and meet some purty psych major 😉.

Put out flyers and make yourself a tutor, or put it in a local newspaper.... sometimes people even advertise looking for tutors around here.

You could also mow lawns once spring gets closer, this depends on where you live (suburbs, and how warm it is)... but its something I could always fall back on as a last resort.

do what i said in that VB thread. write custom software for small businesses and charge them in excess of 1k for the prog. shouldn't take you more than one or two days to code. 🙂

I go to a restaurant for lunch and a restaurant for dinner. $20 a day spent easily doing that.

When i was in school I painted street numbers on curbs for donations and mowed lawns for $20-40 and drilled peep holes for $15. make about $500 a weekend ...And yes I payed taxes on it😉😛
