How can I make change an MS PUBLISHER file into a .PDF format?

I am using winXP home on my laptop and it has MSPublisher that I use to create business doc's. I need to send these doc's to a client that uses a Mac and she would like them in PDF format. When i try to save the file with the .pdf extension, it saves it under publisher as if the name of the file is "file.pdf" and not as a true .pdf file.

anyone have any insights on how I can make these doc's PDF?

Thanks,

are you certain that you have the full Adobe Acrobat product installed, and not just the Acrobat Reader?

If you have the full version of Adobe Acrobat (not just the reader), you should be able to go to File -> Print and then choose Acrobat Distiller as your choice of a printer. You will get some options for the format of the file, etc. and then after you click on 'Print' , it will ask you to name the PDF file.
