How can I make a web page stop auto-reloading?

I just want to know how to get sites that auto-reload every 1/2 hour or so to stop doing that. Any way? No, there is no "stop auto-reloading" button on the page that I can see.

Opera can make a page reload every x minutes but I am not sure about stopping a page from doing it. The page probably has a meta refresh tag in it and I am not sure if you can get around that.

Try pressing ESC right before the webpage looks like it has finished loading everything...that might do the trick. There may be one or two images missing, if anything, but if I'm not mistaken, it shouldn't reload.
